Welcome to Drum Commodities
Africa Supply Chain Pipeline
Drum Commodities runs the logistics for a wide variety of commodity projects across Africa. These range from rice and fertiliser in Senegal, cocoa in Nigeria and sugar in Ghana to cotton in Malawi and Mozambique, fertiliser in Zimbabwe and petroleum tank farm management in Tanzania.
Simply put, operations undertaken at one specific site is called Collateral Management. For a supply chain pipeline moving product over considerable distances and often across countries, we provide our Supply Chain Management package. Drum Commodities provide a unique combination of pre-transaction due diligence and post-transaction risk control, all underwritten by Lloyds of London stock loss and political risks insurance.
Since the African operations started in December 2005 with a sugar operation in Mali, our services have expanded strongly and, in order to provide an operational Footprint, we have subsidiaries in 10 countries: Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
